Update 5 October: Open day without coronavirus entry pass

7 October 2021

Open Day at Avans locations

The easing of Covid restrictions across the Netherlands means it is once again possible to organise events for prospective students at Avans locations. The next Open Day will be on Saturday, 13 November at our locations in Breda, ’s Hertogenbosch and Tilburg. In the week leading up to the Open Day, there will be presentations by various programmes online.

Prospective students and the person accompanying them will not need a coronavirus entry pass to attend the Open Day. Of course, we will be taking all necessary measures to ensure that the Open Day proceeds as safely as possible. For example, those attending will be required to register in advance and we will work with time slots and small groups. Prospective students will only be allowed to bring one person with them. This will prevent overcrowding at peak times and ensure an even spread of visitors across the buildings.

Other events

Education-related activities in general do not require a Covid check. From period 2 onwards, it will be possible to resume education-related activities in Avans buildings without the need for participants (including people from outside Avans) to show a coronavirus entry pass. Of course, proper arrangements must be taken to ensure that these activities proceed safely and in no way compromise our ongoing educational programmes at Avans.
